At the Department of Cognitive Neurology at the HIH we are aiming to decipher one of the greatest enigmas of humankind: the question how the human brain makes perception, imagination, and the ability to judge and learn possible. Through a better understanding of higher brain functions we also hope to learn how to better understand and treat disorders caused by diseases of the central nervous system.
